We've been in Naples for over five months now.

We arrived on Dec. 30, 1999, we got a car, a Euro-Spec BMW 320 i.s. (an "M" car), and moved into a house in a suburb of Naples called Varcaturo. It's about 20 minutes from where I work. Check the link, 'Naples Page Two' at left, for photos of it.

We recently adopted a dog, we call her gizzy.

I decided to skip the Christmas/Tennessee stuff, it's just too old now.

I went to boot camp and Navy Journalist school with him and got to see him recently when he was TAD to Bari, Italy and came into Naples (a two to four hour drive depending on whether you're traveling at insane or just crazy speed (140 - 200 km/h). Take a look at your speedometer sometime for a quick translation. I hear the Opel Astra rental cars here will take corners pretty well... even with a tire off the ground.
